The City of Hogansville is seeking a City Manager who will be responsible for the planning directing and supervising the activities of all city employees. The manager develops the annual budget which is submitted to the Mayor and Council for approval. The position manages the functions of all city departments and maintains positive relations with other local governments and state and federal agencies. The manager reports to the Mayor and Council.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Planning or other related degree and relevant management and leadership experience is preferred.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to solve complex problems in a political environment. He or she will have demonstrated skills in economic development, budgeting and finance, grant procurement and managing a diverse workforce. Knowledge of public works requirements and methods would be a plus.
